Chanel Métiers D’Art Pre-Fall 2011 Paris-Byzance First Look

French Vogue was snapping pics earlier today at the Chanel Métiers D’Art Pre-Fall 2011 Paris-Byzance Show and they’ve given us the first look at Peter Philip’s interpretation of Byzantine jewels. The eyeshadow quad features cream eyeshadows and is limited to 1500 pieces – I can’t wait to see what the eyeshadow looks like on the models!

French Vogue is also giving us a glimpse of the first seven looks of the Paris-Byzance show as shot by Karl Lagerfeld… I can’t wait to see it all.  It’s very opulent and perfectly embodies what I think of when I conjure up thoughts of the Byzantine Empire.

French Vogue also snapped pics of the runway show and was live tweeting during the show – you can see them all @VogueParisLive.

  1. That eyeshadow palette is beautiful! So few of them though! It is not likely I would be able to get my hands on one! The make-up, clothes and Jewellery are beautiful such rich, opulent colours.
