The Collection Byzance de Chanel – the makeup to accompany the Chanel Métiers D’Art Pre-Fall 2011 Paris-Byzance collection is out now. Back in December I gave a break down of the product and inspiration and now you can make yourself look like Empress Theodora. The collection includes Topkapi Quadra Eyeshadow, Lumieres Byzantines de Chanel Palette Highlighters (limited to 1500 worldwide and retailing for $250), Powder Blush in Or, Power Blush in Rouge, and Rouge Allure Luminous Satin Lip Colour in Rouge Byzantin.
Here are descriptions of each of the products:
Topkapi Quadra Eyeshadow: Beloved by Mademoiselle Chanel, the opulence of Byzantine art served as muse for this quartet of creamy powder eyeshadows. Copper, taupe, gold and bronze, touched with shimmer and light, create mesmerizing effects. Limited Edition.
Or Powder Blush: The bestselling, ultra-wearable powder blush introduces a sheer, lightly shimmering shade of gold to bring a subtle new luminosity to the face. Limited Edition.
Rouge Powder Blush: The bestselling, ultra-wearable powder blush highlights cheeks with a subtle new shade of red, accentuated with traces of gold and pearlized shimmer. Limited Edition.
Rouge Byzantin Rouge Allure: The lipstick icon – renowned for its lustrous colour, sensational comfort and fabulous wear – debuts Rouge Byzantin, an iridescent ruby red with a hint of sapphire, for a rich, jewel-toned lip look. Limited Edition.
