Peter Philips’ Cure for Tired Eyes

peter philips chanel le crayon kohl in clair

Peter Philips is a makeup genius so whatever he says works for tired-looking eyes, I want to try. Allure Magazine caught up with Peter Philips backstage at fashion week to find out what product he can’t live without and it’s the Chanel Le Crayon Kohl in Clair.  He lines the inner rim of models’ eye with the beige pencil and this trick is the secret to all of his runway looks.

“Beige liner takes out any redness the girls might have. When use you do this with white liner, it just looks too much like makeup, and too noticeable—this is more natural.

I have to agree about the white eyeliner – I tried it a few years back and it was too obvious looking.  I definitely going to try the beige pencil trick.  Do you have any tricks up your sleeves?

  3. I have this pencil and it’s great. When you first put it on, it can look noticable but after 10 minutes when it settles, it looks good. When I’m tired, I will often start with some eye drops before I apply anything else. I find this pencil, some good drops and a tiny bit of shimmer in the inner corner makes a big difference to mend how tired my eyes appear.
