Pearls played a huge part in the Chanel Spring-Summer 2013 Ready-to-Wear so it’s no surprise that the makeup was luminous and iridescent like pearls. I loved the large pearls in the models’ hair – very similar to the pearls from the Chanel Spring-Summer 2012 ready-to-wear collection only larger. To learn how to make similar pins, check out my post on DIY Chanel-Inspired pearl hairpins.
Usually the first thing I look for is the new Le Vernis but all the images I could find looked like the models were just wearing a clear top coat or a traditional French manicure. We learn below that there is a new color that was used – not sure what Eastern Light looks like but I’ll keep you posted!

Eastern Light is the white nail polish used on the tips to create the French manicure. It was confirmed on vogue.co.uk as well as a few other sources.
It will be part of a Hong Kong collection that is due out in February 2013.
I’m sorry I can’t remember the sources right now, otherwise I would link, but you can search online.
