The internet has been abuzz with the news that Karl Lagerfeld chose Keira Knightley to play Coco Chanel in an upcoming short fashion film and the trailer is now here! Entitled “Once Upon A Time” the short film features Keira Knightley as Coco Chanel as a young designer at her first boutique in Deauville, France. French film actress Clotilde Hesme is also in “Once Upon A Time” and I’m guessing she plays Coco Chanel’s aunt Adrienne.
The full film will be posted on http://www.chanel-news.com on May 8th at the same time as its premiere in Singapore, the destination chosen by Karl Lagerfeld for his upcoming Cruise fashion show.

Yesterday I posted Lisa Eldridge’s tutorial on how to apply the Collection L’Eté Papillon de CHANEL and now Chanel has released its own promotional video for the Summer 2013 makeup collection inspired by butterflies. Though the look is lovely on Monika “Jac” Jagaciak and actually does look like the patterns on a butterfly, I think the look Lisa Eldridge is more realistic for everyday use. What do you think?

It seems like it’s taking longer and longer for me to put these link list posts together. Chanel keeps coming out with new and amazing product so little bits of news get pushed aside. Here is the news that I meant to post but didn’t – just in case you missed it the first time around.
