It’s here! We’ve seen the photos, the behind the scenes, the teaser and the trailer – now we can actually watch the full film. Featuring Keira Knightley and Alberto Ammann, directed by Joe Wright and set to the tune of It’s a man’s man’s man’s world (James Brown, Betty Newsome), performed by Joss Stone. Keira Knightley looks gorgeous in this ad and it’s very steamy – see for yourself!

More Images & Video of the Chanel Mademoiselle Bag Campaign Featuring Blake Lively
More shots of the Mademoiselle bag ad campaign, featuring Blake Lively, have been revealed. The 3 new photos show Blake with three different bags – one black Mademoiselle bag, one light blue (or grey?) Mademoiselle bag, and the third looks like either a small clutch or wallet. All the photos are taken on the legendary staircase at 31 Rue Cambon. These photos are just as lovely as the first three we saw last week. What do you think? Which do you like better?

There’s also a short product video that just features the bag – no Blake Lively – I guess they save the longer product films with actresses for their fragrance campaigns. Nonetheless, the video does a nice job of showing us the beautiful quality and details of the Mademoiselle bag – while also reminding you of the other Chanel products you can fill your bag with.

Sneak Peek of Coco Mademoiselle Ad Featuring Keira Knightley
Oooh! First look at the new Coco Mademoiselle ad campaign featuring Keira Knightley directed by Joe Wright. The two worked together on Pride & Prejudice. So exciting. It looks like it’s going to be good – it seems Keira is playing a “Chanel Superwoman.” The ad rolls out on March 21st…

Blake Lively for Chanel Mademoiselle – Ads & Behind the Scenes
Earlier this week we showed you the first ad image that was shown online of Blake Lively in the Chanel Mademoiselle handbag campaign. Today, Chanel News released behind the scenes images and The Cut showed two more ad images. The other ad images feature bags in other colors and Blake Lively looks gorgeous in them. It looks like my hunch was right and Karl Lagerfeld shot the ad on the staircase at 31 Rue Cambon. What a lucky girl! Blake is the face of Chanel handbags AND she got to see the legendary staircase (and probably the apartment too!).
I must say though, the behind the scenes photos are just as beautiful. Shot in black and white, I think they are strong enough to be ads as well – in some ways I prefer them. What do you think?

More Chanel Spring/Summer 2011 Ad Campaign Shots
Last week I posted the first images that had surfaced online of the Chanel Spring/Summer 2011 ad campaign shot by Karl Lagerfeld and now more images are coming to light. The complete spring 2011 campaign also includes Stella Tenant in addition to Baptiste Giabiconi and Freja Beha. The new images have the same relaxed, playful mood and garden backdrop – a beautiful canvas to showcase the lovely collection.

Chanel Spring/Summer 2011 Ad Campaign
Images of Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2011 ad campaign (as printed in the Elle UK Feb 2011 issue) have surfaced online and for the first two shots, Karl has gone with his favorite models of the moment – Baptiste Giabiconi and Freja Beha. You may remember, the Spring/Summer 2011 collection was inspired by Last Year at Marienbad and the Grand Palais was transformed into a garden setting from the movie. The ad campaign seems to be following a similar vein as they are photographed in a serene garden with lush foliage.

Blake Lively the New Face of Chanel Handbags

Word on the street is that Blake Lively just got back from Paris after shooting a new Chanel handbag ad campaign set to release in the Spring. As usual, Karl Lagerfeld took the pictures and it’s no surprise that Blake is his “it” girl right now as she’s been spotted at Chanel events lately. I wonder if it’s for the Coco Cocoon collection? Only time will tell – we’ll see in a few months.

Vintage Chanel Advertisements
Two of my favorite things are Chanel and advertisements – when you put the two together, you can’t go wrong. I especially love vintage Chanel No 5 perfume ads and ads featuring apparel and accessories in the early days of Karl Lagerfeld designing for Chanel. When I was in Junior High School, I would rip out Chanel ads and paste them into my scrapbook. Unfortunately, the scrap book is long gone, but Blogue has put together a nice collection of vintage Chanel ads – check them out on Blogue.com.
