Chanel has released a video for Le Volume de Chanel mascara which offers instant volume and intense color. I’m so glad that it looks like they are just using her lashes – so many mascara commercials look like the models are wearing tons of fake eyelashes. Her eyes also remind me of fluttering butterflies – but that may be because I have the Chanel — on the brain.
The stand-out pop of color at the Chanel 2013-14 Cruise Singapore show was the blue eye makeup and bold eyeliner on the models. Chanel sent information on the items Peter Philips used to create the look for the Chanel 2013-14 Cruise Singapore – here’s how you can get the look. It looks like the only new product he used is the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour SPF 15 – all other items are in existing collections.

Chanel debuted its vending machine during Fashion’s Night Out in September 2012 and the Chanel vending machine is making a come back starting tomorrow through May 8th at Selfridges Oxford Street in London. If you’re lucky enough to see this wondrous vending machine, you’ll also be able to get Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir, Prune and Bleu days before it launches on May 3rd. If anyone sees this vending machine please snap a pic and send it to me and I’ll post it on the blog!

Yesterday I posted Lisa Eldridge’s tutorial on how to apply the Collection L’Eté Papillon de CHANEL and now Chanel has released its own promotional video for the Summer 2013 makeup collection inspired by butterflies. Chanel has released its summer promotion for its lip collection Le Rouge. Beautiful reds, pinks and corals in lipstick and lipgloss form perfect for wearing alone, or layering. You can create a look as personal to you as your own signature. Enjoy the video below – I love how the opening shot of the video (and photo above) is essentially the same as a shot from the Chanel No5 ad from the 80s below…

Sarah Beeby’s created a short film about Chanel Les Beiges exclusively for AnOtherMag.com, with music by Peter Duffy. Since Chanel was known to love walking the beaches of Deauville, Cannes and Biarritz – homes to some of her first boutiques – Peter Philps worked tirelessly in the Chanel labs to create a product that would give skin a natural glow without the use of bronzer or sparkles.
The result is Les Beiges a line of lightweight, antioxidant powder in five shades that blends flawlessly with your skin. The packaging is a departure from the usual black lacquer cases and is inset with a beige panel while the curved brush ensures easy application.

In January of this year Chanel opened a new boutique in Hong Kong – it’s largest boutique on the island – at Hysan Place, the new luxury temple located at the center of the island. I was able to locate some images of the new Chanel Boutique in Hong Kong as Hysan Place and I hope to visit it myself one day!
You may remember a while back I posted about the 香港·デシャネルコレクション. Chanel was nice enough to send me the collection and it’s truly a lovely collection that works in any season. The Ombres Matelassées are a gorgeous set of neutrals that will work on anyone while the nail colors make bold statements.
