Claudia Schiffer for Chanel Prestige FW 2011/12 Eyewear Collection – Behind the Scenes & Campaign Images

Claudia Schiffer for Chanel Prestige Fall Winter 2011 2012 EyewearClaudia Schiffer is the back as the face of the Chanel Prestige FW 2011/12 Eyewear Collection. Her ad campaign images have been out for some time but I just saw some behind the scenes images on the British Vogue website. I’ve also included the actual campaign images in the gallery so you can see the finished product.

I’m really loving the sunglasses with the leather/chain detail – I may have to get a pair! Black x Gold of course!

Chanel Latin Lover – Spring/Summer 2010 Look Book

Chanel‘s Spring/Summer 2010 brochure, Latin Lover is available now at Chanel boutiques.  Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, Latin Lover is also available online for the first time at chanel-latinlover.com.  The site is a virtual look book with all of the images floating on the screen.  To see something up close, you click on the image.  Once you’ve zoomed into an image, you can click on each of the items featured in the look book for close-ups.

The web look book is a nice addition to the Chanel suite of sites and it seems like it’s part of Chanel’s larger move of having a greater presence online.  I’m looking forward to see what else they have up their sleeve!

Sneak Peek of Chanel Spring 2010 Campaign Featuring Claudia Schiffer

Sneak Peek of Chanel Spring 2010 Campaign Featuring Claudia Schiffer
Last week photos surfaced on the internet of some behind the scenes shots of Karl Lagerfeld and Claudia Schiffer shooting the Chanel 2010 Spring Ad Campaign. This is not the first time Karl used Claudia as the face of a Chanel campaign, and we most recently saw her as the face of last year’s cruise collection.

Claudia Schiffer is certainly a woman aging gracefully who is beautiful and a great role model for shunning plastic surgery. That said, I don’t get why she has been the face of Chanel campaigns – she doesn’t seem the Chanel type to me. I feel like she’s lacking that certain “je ne sais quoi” to make her the representative of the brand. Mlle. Chanel herself used to choose models that looked similar to her -more brunette than blonde. Let’s hope that this doesn’t become a habit for Karl…
