Chanel Métiers d’Art Paris-Edimbourg Making of the Press Kit

Chanel Métiers d’Art Paris-Edimbourg Making of the Press Kit

As is his custom, Karl Lagerfeld photographed the Chanel Métiers d’Art Paris-Edimbourg Press Kit at Studio 7L in Paris.  Here is a look at the behind the scene action.

Chanel Spring-Summer 2013 Making of the Press Kit

Chanel Spring Summer 2013 Making of the Press Kit

Chanel sent images of Karl Lagerfeld photographing Stef van der Laan for the Chanel Spring Summer 2013 Press Kit.  I love seeing candid photos of everyone behind-the-scenes at work and it’s a great way to get a glimpse of the process.  You can also catch some details of the collection in the close ups – all photos by Olivier Saillant.

Making of the Chanel Cruise 2011/12 Press Kit

Making of the Chanel Cruise 2011/12 LookbookChanel News posted some images of the making of the Cruise 2011/12 look book.  I like how they’ve been doing their “behind the scenes” images in black and white – it’s so Chanel.  Looks like Karl Lagerfeld shot the campaign – I don’t know the name of the model – someone fill me in if you know.  The images below were shot at Studio 7L, Paris by Olivier Saillant.  The trio of artists are Sam Mc Knight (hair), Anny Errandonea (nails) and Peter Philips (makeup).  I’m drooling over the shoes, chains, brooches and camellias… and I spy a Chanel comet necklace used as an armhole of a sleeve!  Can’t wait to see the finished product!
